Discover AYNI Acres

Our Beloved Land

Our expansive retreat is nestled on 68 acres of pristine Washington state forest land, offering thousands of feet of tranquil creek frontage for adventuring, solitude and exploration.  At our retreat center, we hold deep reverence for the sacred land upon which we are privileged to reside. We honor the ancestors and all beings who have walked this land before us, recognizing their wisdom and legacy that enriches our connection to nature. With profound respect for the past, present, and future stewards of this land, we embrace a commitment to sustainable practices and mindful stewardship. By cultivating harmony and gratitude in our interactions with the land, we strive to preserve its natural beauty and ensure that it remains a sanctuary for generations to come, fostering a legacy of respect and environmental consciousness.

Ayni (eye-nee) is a Quechua word from the Andean indigenous language, it means "sacred reciprocity". We dedicate this space to living in Ayni and as a reminder to embody this harmony and balance, here and now with all of our relations including Mother Earth, to never forget that we are all connected. The Law of Ayni guides us toward mutualism, sharing work, honoring one another and all beings, and give before receiving.
